As you all know, Emma was born at 26 weeks gestation weighing 1 lb 7 oz. She vacationed in our local NICU for 3 months and 1 day. Luckily our NICU is the best in the area and has state of the art equipment which helped our precious Emma survive during those first couple of weeks.
To the left you can see a picture of an amazing isolette called a "Giraffe" bed. They are the Rolls Royce of isolettes and come at a hefty price of around $40,000. Thanks to our hospital foundation they do annual fundraisers each year to raise money to purchase more of these amazing beds.
