Water Fun With The Wheeler Boys!

Emma's cousins came down to Huntsville and are spending a few nights with us. We've been having so much fun playing outside in the water and running around the house. We love to have visitors! Yesterday we went downtown to the Earlyworks museum to play in their water fountains. The kiddos had a blast.

ONLY 11 DAYS LEFT!!! Please Donate to Swim For Melissa!

You read right...the time is almost here for the big Swim For Melissa and the Miracle Bash. Our family is super excited to help out for this cause and I know Emma will want to continue to be a part of it for years to come.

Pudding+Food Coloring+Sprinkles=Priceless Fun!

So we had another rainy afternoon today so us girls decided to test out our painting skills. Since Emma loves to eat everything we thought "why not mix pudding with food coloring?" Pretty harmless, huh? I have to say it was one of the funniest activities so far and Emma had a blast. She dug right in to the pudding and starting painting away. She's so artistic! :) Enjoy the pics.

Emma's turn!

"This is fun Mom!"

"Huh?"

"Maybe I should taste it!"

"Not bad!"

Painting is fun!

Wow, sprinkles!

"I'm ready for my bath noooowwww!!!"

"Just call me Van Gogh please."

We sure are going to miss Kelsey tomorrow and all of this crazy fun!

Pretty In Pink!

Today for the 1st time ever Emma got her toenails painted! I put her in her highchair for lunch and painted them and she sat still. I had been dying to do this for a long time and her little bitty toes are so cute!

Our Recreation of Fort Knox

Yesterday afternoon was stormy so we decided to build a fort! Kelsey and I were super excited and Emma just ate goldfish while we worked really hard. :) It was lots of fun and of course I had to share pics!

Where did my living room go?

Peek-a-boo!

Emma was trying to escape and being the mean mommy that I am, I just took pictures!

Then I decided to give Emma "bam-bam" hair!

Super cute! I love this picture!

That's all for now. We are going to the park later so I'll have more pics tonight.

Fun In The Sun!

First off, I have a question for Aunt Starlena...Can we PLEASE keep Kelsey? I promise to take care of her! :) Emma has had such a great time with her and played so hard. She would be a great addition to our family! You can think about it for a few days and get back to me.

My little sick self has been stuck inside since last Thursday so today we decided to venture out. A little sun always makes a person feel better even if it is 100 degrees. We took Kelsey to Bridge Street and walked around the cool fancy stores and then let Emma play in the water fountains. It felt so good to get out, but I'm so glad to be back home in the air conditioner.

Here's several pics of Kelsey and Emma playing in the water.

Guess Who's Having All The Fun?

Not me! :) Cousin Kelsey is here helping me with Emma through Thursday and I think they might just be having a good time. Kelsey is so good with Emma and even got her down really quick for a nap today. Impressive, huh? Here are some pics from them playing a few minutes ago.

As for me I'm still about the same. It isn't too bad but the pain medicine makes me really tired about 30 minutes after I take it. The best part about all of this is living off of popsicles and a milkshake for lunch/dinner! Life is good.

Home From My Tonsillectomy

Yay it is over! Well the surgery part that is. Now I have 2 full weeks of recovery with a sore throat, possible ear pain, low temperature, and other fun stuff.

The surgery wasn't bad and when I woke up my throat wasn't too sore. So far today I've had 4 popsicles! Yummy! My blood pressure was high afterwards so they gave me meds for that but it went back down. So overall a successful surgery. I did find out that I had lots of gunk on my tonsils and I had an abcess on my left tonsil that they are testing for bacteria. It will take several days to get the results back. The doctor said it was really good that I got them out and I should feel much better from now on!

I probably won't be posting much over the next several days so just bear with me until I get better. Thanks for all of the thoughts and prayers!

Emma's First Bean Bag!

Thank you Granny and Pa Scott for the Hannah Montana bean bag! Mommy enjoys sitting on it too. :) Today it was nap time and Emma wanted to watch the Care Bears. So I gave her a little bottle, her blanket, and within seconds she was sound asleep on it.

Congrats Rachel and Jared!

I wanted to share a few pictures from Rachel's wedding last week. We took so many pics but I just thought I would share a few.
