Catscan Today!

Today Emma had her 3D Catscan and it went great! They didn't have to sedate her b/c I rocked her to sleep and she was perfectly still for it. Grammy and I were so happy they didn't have to sedate her. She was such an angel all day even without food. After we left the hospital I went to Babies R Us to get spoons and she got a couple of new toys. Tonight we are going to try cereal for the first time and I'm so excited about that! Pictures will come later!

Howdy Blogworld!

The past couple of days have been busy around the Titsworth residence! Judy (George's mom) came in on Thursday and stayed the night with us. She hadn't been down in about 3 weeks and George's dad couldn't make it b/c his grandfather has been in the nursing home so no RusRus this visit! We had a great time! Emma loves her Grammy! On Friday we went shopping ALL DAY and bought Emma so many outfits. The girl has more clothes than anyone I know. Don't worry I've got pics of the new clothes. :)

I had my first test yesterday in Psychology and I think I got an A on it! My professor will post our grades sometime today but I'm pretty sure I did good on it. Now I have my hard Anatomy test on Monday and I need lots of prayers for that one!

My long time friend, Cathy and her boyfriend Adam, came down yesterday for a couple of hours. That was their first time meeting Emma. It was so wonderful to see Cathy b/c I haven't seen her since the beginning of May. We spent tons of time together in college but I guess since we are grown ups now it's hard to get together. That's about it for now. I've got to study today and do some things around the house. In case anyone is wondering how my Weight Watcher weigh in went....I was down 2.2 lbs!!! Woohoo! Hopefully next week I will reach my 15 lb mark.

We're Back!

Hello fellow blog readers! I have been slacking the past week and I'm super duper sorry for no pics but I've been busy! With school, a baby that needs lots of attention, studying, being a wife, etc, it's hard to find time to post!

The biggest news is Emma finally rolled over yesterday! I tried to grab the camera for the first flip but she did it just as I realized the battery was dead...then she rolled again and the battery was charging...third time I got it! She was really mad at this point so in the video you can see what I mean. Please don't think I'm a bad mom for making her mad and not flipping her myself!

In other news I've got my first 2 test coming up. One on Saturday (should be easy) and one on Monday. My test Monday will be really hard and as much as I want to ace it, I will settle for a B. If it's lower than a B...we won't go there. :) Please wish me luck b/c I really really want to do well in these classes. I love going to class and learning and I feel like I put a decent amount of time into studying.

My youngest brother Chandler flew into Huntsville last Thursday and left Friday but I was so excited to see him! To make a long story short, he came up to take his permit test in TN but after running around all day Friday he was unable to take it. We were very bummed out, but at least we got to see him.

And finally, I need someone to kick me in the butt really hard so I will start losing weight again! Since Em's been home I've lost around 20 lbs and 15 lbs has been through weight watchers. Well the past several weeks I've stopped exercising and I don't count my points like I should and it shows. The past 2 wks I've had gains and I'm sick of it! So this week I am writing down everything I eat and my points so wish me luck on Saturday morning for the big weigh-in!

Couple More Pics

On our way home Sunday we stopped in Franklin to meet up with George's Aunt Kathy, her friends Kate and Nina at a jazz festival. Aunt Kathy hasn't seen Em since she was in the NICU and she was around 2 lbs. We spent about 10 minutes with them and then we had to get back on the road to come home!

Emma's 1st Road Trip!

On Saturday we took Emma on her first overnight adventure to Nashville to my Aunt Marsha's house. We had such a great time with my family and we also got to visit several other people too. Emma handled the whole trip really well and so far this morning she is good. In case you don't know, Em has been sleeping 10-11 hrs a night for the past 2 weeks straight. I was kind of worried that staying somewhere else would mess her up but it didn't and she is still sleeping through the night! Woohoo! Anyways, here is the beginning of our trip-loading Em, her oxygen, and her apnea monitor into the car.




When we got there it was time to eat so Monya (Left) fed her first and then Melica (Right) fed her. The girls are so good with her!

My Granny Dunham came down from Sparta and stayed the night too. She hadn't seen Em in several weeks and she's changed alot since then. Em loves her granny!



George's cousin Amy and her new husband Matt live in Nashville too so we went to their apt for a visit. It was their first time meeting Em! Amy fed her a bottle while we were there. This is such a good pic of them I think.

The highlight of the trip! My dad finally got to meet Em for the first time and I made him hold her so we could all take a million pictures! My two baldheaded babies. :)
