Vacation (Part IV)

So on May 14th we celebrated Emma's 1 year birthday according to my due date! I made some yummy chocolate cupcakes and let Emma eat one for a little celebration. I have decided that every year from now on we will have 2 birthdays for Emma-one on her actual bday and the due date bday. It's just such a special memory for me and makes me realize how far she's come in the past 15 months. She is my little miracle of life and I love celebrating everyday with her. Enjoy some messy but cute cupcake pictures!!

My 15 month old princess (adjusted age 12 months)

Mom, what in the world is this??

My mom is pretty cool! :)

This is how you eat a cupcake! (yes, she's definitely my girl!)

Uh, what do I do now?

Smile! I'm good at that!

This is too fun!

Bathing suit number 2...a gift from Katie! Thanks!

Every year one of G's friends takes a trip with his family to the Panama City area and usually they are down there around the same time we are. This year we were some of the same days so we met up with them at their HUGE ocean front house. It was awesome!

This is Michael and Merve...very cool people!

Bill, George, and Adam...high school friends!

Nice group shot

Stay tuned for more pics!

Our First Family Vacation (Part 1)

Our first family vacation was so much fun and I really enjoyed us all being together for an entire week! Emma did ok on the ride down but was a perfect angel on the way home! As usual, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect child. She loved being able to wake up and go to Grammy and Ru-Rus's room for coffee/breakfast and playtime with her cousins. It was a very relaxing week and I'm glad to be back home to our routine. I think I gained 10 lbs!
Here are some pics from the day of arrival in Destin at our Edgewater condo. George's parents and his sister and her family joined us on the trip and we each had our own condos for everyone's sanity! We were on the 7th floor and had a wonderful view of the ocean. If I'm going to pay for an ocean trip, I MUST stay right on the ocean. :) Our room was absolutely beautiful and I've got pics of it to share later.

This was right after we arrived and unloaded the car. George and Emma standing on our balcony.

We immediately took off to the beach!

Very excited little girl!

Her first experience with sand and ocean water...she loved it!

Sand? How does this taste mom?

Cold water!

I think I'll stick to eating the sand!

One of 4 bathing suits. She's not spoiled!

The view from our balcony to the left side away from the beach...beautiful!

More to come later! I've got a gazillion pics to go through.

Guess Who Is Going On Vacation???

WE ARE!!!!!!

Can you tell I'm excited? I've been waiting on this trip for the past 6 months and I'm just so incredibly anxious to get on the road! We are going for 7 whole days! Sunshine and ocean here the Titsworth's come!

In case you didn't know, Emma does NOT like the car very much. So today I headed out to the Wal-Mart to get a portable DVD player. I'm sure by next week I will have thrown the Baby Babble & Sesame Street dvd's out the window! Hopefully it will keep her happy tomorrow. If all else fails, I'll pop in the Golden Girls set and put on the headphones. :)
Here is the DVD player we got except I just realized on the internet it is listed for $89 and in the store I paid $99...I might need to call them about that!
I know everyone is going to be really sad but I don't plan on blogging until we get back next weekend. So don't shed too many tears, it will only be approximately 8 or 9 days without any Emma pictures. :)
Wish us luck traveling!

Rainy Day Fun

One of the wonderful girls on my pregnancy board (pg.org) sent this cute tiara/headband to Emma for her 1st birthday! She is so not feeling the photos today so please ignore her mad face again!

"Get this thing off of me now!" Did I mention she has some attitude these days?? :)

My Purple Peanut

Our wonderful, amazing, awesome friend Marilyn got this cute cute hat for Emma several months ago and it just now fits her tiny head! Emma was not enjoying me taking pics of her.

She got it off! Look at her mad face!

Mommy got it back on again...wow, she is one cute kid!

Got Ice Cream?

Daddy let Emma have some of his fudge bar the other night and it turned into a goatee on her face. I think the flash must have bothered her b/c these look so funny!

Forward Facing

She looks very unhappy here, but deep down inside she was screaming with joy!

Checking herself out in the mirror...I've got hands!
