My Sweet Girly Girl

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE having a girl. Not just any girl, but a total girly girl. I've never been much of a girly girl so who knows where she got it from but I love it. She just makes my day when she changes princess dresses every hour and only wants to wear skirts and dresses that she can twirl in. So so cute. :)

Yesterday I got brave and asked Emma if I could braid her hair. That's one of those things I always wanted to do if & when I had a little girl. Growing up my stepmom Betsy would always french braid my hair and I enjoyed doing it with my friends. So I was super happy when Emma let me do it and she stood so incredibly still on the stool and not once did she yell ouch. I was very proud of my work and that stayed in about 12 hours. She loved them and didn't take them out until bedtime. Happy mommy moment!

She has a crazy part at the crown of her head but I think they are adorable. My my she is growing fast!
This next picture was taken yesterday evening after Daddy got home. We were going to go outside for a few minutes and Emma runs out with this hat on her head like it is winter time. She has a crazy sense of fashion! Her sweet cousin Melica made her this hat maybe 2 years ago and she wears it all the time.

Lake Guntersville

On Saturday we drove to Lake Guntersville to visit our friends who had rented a cabin for a few days. We had so much fun! It was Emma's first time to swim in the lake and she loved it. Here she is with me and Ashli on the jet ski. We just put her on it so she could sit with us and we just idled around. Then for whatever reason we were going in a circle (not using the gas) and we all 3 flipped over. It happened so fast and I couldn't even hold my breath. I grabbed Emma and my first thought was what if it hits her on the head but luckily the jet ski didn't flip. I was about sick to my stomach. That is the last time we'll let her sit on a jet ski till she's 30!

Ashli and BJ had this huge float thingy and it was so comfortable! It had little seats on the top but the kids and I loved the little hole in the middle. I could have sat there all day with my babies!

Emma caught a fish!!! I couldn't believe it but here she is with her daddy showing off her cute little fishy. She ended up throwing it back in the water and she will quickly tell you that she had to wash off her hands b/c the fish was dirty. :) So proud of her!

Unfortunately Emma brought home a nasty mosquito bite from the lake. She woke up with a swollen arm on Sunday and we gave her 2 doses of Benadryl. It's nasty looking and her skin is really tight and warm. I called the pedi today and they said to bring her in. Sure enough, she has a secondary skin infection. She's on 10 days of antibiotics. It's something she's never had before. She also has a big ugly bite on her back too and it is itching her like crazy. The pedi thinks she just had a really bad allergic reaction to this one and then with her body trying to fight the infection the one on her back has gotten worse. Poor baby! The same thing happened about a month ago on her leg too.

One of Emma's favorite things to do it play dance class. Emma is all GIRL and I love it! Everyday she is either in a princess dress or her ballerina outfit. She also only wants to wear a twirly skirt or dress. :) So today we played dance class which takes place in Hudson's room. What a doll!

Hudson at 7 Months

Hudson, you turned 7 months old yesterday! You are growing like a weed! You are still the happiest most laid back little baby I've ever seen and our hearts are overflowing with love for you. So what are you doing at 7 months??

You are in size 3 diapers (either Huggies Natural Fit or the Publix brand-love them!)
9-12 month clothing
eating 6 oz every 3 hours and baby food 3x's a day
sleeping through the night still for about 11 hours and you go to bed normally at 7pm
you very rarely cry (seriously, we got lucky!)
tummy time is not your favorite thing but you are rolling over alot now especially back to belly and then you get mad
you are doing great at sitting up without assistance but you still fall backwards sometimes
playing with toys and watching your sister are 2 of your fav things! you laugh when you see her all the time. I LOVE it! Also, you are great at grabbing toys
Today you fell off Emma's bed for the 1st time and you were okay but mommy felt bad b/c I should have known better. :(
you are not a big napper during the day. Normally you do two 15-20 min cat naps before lunch and two small catnaps in the afternoon.
I LOVE putting you to sleep b/c all it takes is mommy singing to you and you are out like a light. It's the best thing in the world to snuggle and sing to you.
have I mentioned how happy & laid back you are?? Seriously, we got lucky! You are just like your daddy.
I started making your baby food this past week and so far you like it. It felt good to do it.
you probably weigh just over 19 lbs
of course you have your 2 bottom teeth and your top teeth are coming through right now. Your left one on top has definitely broken the skin and the right one is right there too. Poor baby. You actually handle it very well and I notice you keeping your lips closed and making a grunting sound or something like it.

That's all I can think of for now. You are just so wonderful and we are so blessed to have you in our family. Emma has really been great with you recently and she loves you so much too. Life is good. :)

Happy 7 Months to Hudson & Update

I can't believe little man is 7 months old today! Only 5 more months until his birthday. You've got to be kidding me! He is just changing so fast and is still the best little baby ever. Such a doll.

Life here has been busy this week. Emma has swim lessons everyday this week and that's been fun. She is so good in the water and is doing wonderful in her lesson. She's going to be so sad when this week is over.

Something fun George and I did on Monday night was make Hudson a whole whoppin bunch of baby food. I've been wanting to do it for awhile but haven't taken the time to do it. It was fun doing it together. We made blueberries, apples, peas, sweet potatoes, carrots, and butternut squash. So far he's had the blueberries, sweet potatoes, carrots, and squash. He wasn't too fond of the carrots earlier but I'm wondering if it's b/c of the texture. They weren't as runny as the store bought ones so I might add more water to them next time. He loves the butternut squash though. I made like 16 trays I think so we have food for days. :)

I've got tons of pictures to share but blogger isn't working right for me at the moment. I clicked on blogger's new posting thingy the other day and now I can't get my pictures and text to work properly. I'm really bummed about it and hope to get it working properly or switch to Wordpress.

I've got laundry calling my name as well as my bed! I'm hosting a Thirty-One party tomorrow night so I have to get my house in tip top shape by 6pm. That'll be a challenge with 2 kiddos. Emma is the best at causing a tornado. :) Cute little stinker. I've also got to prepare a fruit pizza, mini sandwiches, and spinach & artichoke dip for the party. I'm very excited! Always On the Go!

I happen to be a very antsy person and can't stand to not leave the house frequently. We stayed home all of last week and by Thursday I was ready to hit the road. So I packed the bags and we headed to Cookeville. Let me tell you, I am the master packer. I can pack for me and two small kids within the hour. When I get my mind set on something, I do it. :) It drives G bonkers b/c if you get in my way you will get ran over. ha! Anyways, we had lots of fun visiting family and playing with the cousins. We stayed super busy and I'm ready to plop myself in the bed at 7pm. Enjoy the pictures!

Today my sweet Georgie celebrated his 28th birthday and he wanted it low key this year so that's what he got. :) Last night we went to Phil Sandoval's so I told him that was his birthday dinner. Then after work today we met up at the gym and did a very intense 60 minute cardio class with the most enthusiastic girl ever. She cracks me up. She is so stinkin perky and I found out tonight she used to be a cheerleader. Knew it!

Back to G's birthday...

Gabby posted this picture on Facebook this morning and it is from G's 2nd birthday. Is he not the cutest?? It was a clown cake! He was so tiny and I love his blond hair.

We had grilled chicken after we got home from the gym and some steamed broccoli...talk about a birthday dinner! We're trying to be healthier these days especially since we are both approaching 30. Here's Hudson waiting patiently for his chicken & broccoli trees. :)

I hadn't intended on getting G a cake b/c he said he really didn't want one since we're trying to be healthy. Well this morning Emma informed me that she couldn't sing happy birthday to him until he had candles on his cake. Sooo, I decided to do a last minute giant cupcake from Publix. They always have them until today. They are sold out! Of course that would happen. So after several sighs I broke down and spent $10 on one of their mini birthday cakes with whipped icing. It was pathetic looking and I would have much rather had a home made cake but oh well. It was actually very tasty and George wasn't too upset that we got it. :)
Oh and I forgot to add that I told Emma we couldn't tell daddy about his special surprise cake. ha! Don't tell that to a 3 year old. We were eating and she somehow spilled the beans in her cute little voice way and then the only thing we had to light the candles was a lighter (which I'm terrified of) and I burned my finger twice so George had to light his own candles!

The big 2-8!

George got birthday cards from his momma, Graham, and my Granny Scott today. He was so excited. Graham did such a wonderful job on his card and it was very special. Thanks Graham!

His birthday presents. He asked for 3 books, a fitness bar for pull ups, push ups, etc, a fitness ball, and some new Vibram running shoes. He was super happy he got all of his gifts! Happy Birthday my love!

I also wanted to mention that Hudson has recently found his feet and he cracks up when he sees them. It is so cute! Sometimes he will see them but he can't reach them and he'll keep trying so hard. :)

Miss Thang in Hudson's sunglasses tonight before bed. Oh and I wanted to mention that Emma can officially dress herself with no assistance (most outfits). Just another sign that she is growing up. It is kind of nice to tell her to put clothes on and her do it. Sometimes it just takes saying it a million times!

Today is my Granny Dunham's 74th birthday! Yesterday we went to Nashville to celebrate and had a wonderful time. They grilled out some yummy hamburgers and we spent a couple of hours swimming and then eating cake. Perfect day! :)

Uncle Jim's mom is in town from Iran and we usually get to see her every couple of years. She is so incredibly sweet and I was glad to get a picture of her and Hudson. My granny has a picture of me at Aunt Marsha's wedding when I was about 6 or so months old and she was there too. Now she's holding my baby.

We had a blast swimming and the water felt so good. Emma was a fish as usual and Hudson enjoyed himself too.

Hudson would start kicking his feet like crazy but he always kept the same expression on his face.

Thanks for having us Aunt Marsha and Uncle Jim and I appreciate the girls playing with Emma so mommy & daddy could have a break. Can't wait to come visit again!

Yesterday was our friend Jessica's 30th birthday and we went to Surin's tonight to celebrate. George was commenting on how our dinners have changed nowadays. Once upon a time it was just adults having a good time and now it includes 4 kids all under 3 years of age and a full glass of coke all over the table, spoons banging on dishes, tantrums, and everything else you can think of. We are definitely the kid table that no one wants to sit beside. :)

It was so much fun to get out of the house on a Friday night and socialize with friends. We don't do that much anymore and tonight confirmed why. :) It wasn't that bad but it was hectic at times. Yes, Emma did spill a full coke all over the table and all over her daddy's pants. Fun times!

We've got a really busy weekend ahead but it will be fun. Oh and George's 28th birthday is coming up on Monday!

CMT Music Awards 2010

Ashli and I had such a wonderful time the CMT Awards on Wednesday! I love country music and there were so many of them there. Unfortunately I never saw Kenny but that's okay.
George took the day off for me b/c I had planned to get my hair colored (I've got tons of gray) and get my makeup done and it was hard to find a babysitter. So I got pampered that morning and then we left not long after lunch.

We ended up parking the car at our friend Sara's house and took a cab downtown so we wouldn't have to worry about traffic. It was wonderful! They dropped us off out front and we headed down to the Hard Rock Cafe for a quick appetizer and drink.

Then we headed back to the Bridgestone Arena around 5pm b/c the doors opened at 5:45. This is just some of the crowd. The Red carpet (it was actually blue) was to the side of the arena and we couldn't see any of it.

Once we found our seats (in the nose bleed!) this is what we saw...really there were no bad seats b/c they had those huge screens.

This is where the artist sat...we had some binoculars so we scoped them out the ENTIRE time! Several of them were on their phones the entire time probably tweeting.

Luckily they kept the lights on them most of the show so we could always see them.

The finale with the confetti was so cool! I loved every part of it except when Paula Dean came out with Snookie and The Situation. That was just so awkward and I don't know who invited them but it was lame-o! Well not Paula Dean but the other two. Such a wonderful experience and now we are determined to become seat fillers. :) Anyone know how to hook me up?? We are already planning our trip to the CMA's in November too. Woohoo!

Sweet Little Gracie

Yesterday I caught Emma brushing Hudson's hair and the next thing I know, she's putting hair bows on him!

I think he makes a very cute little girl. :)

Today our cute little friend Gracie came over to play for a few hours while her older brothers had swim lessons. Gracie is around 8 months old and I found out very quickly today that she is mobile! :) I didn't know that she was moving yet until I set her down and she just takes off. It was funny. Emma got a big kick out of her & loved playing with her. It was definitely more hectic with 3 but we managed just fine. We are very anxious for Gracie to come back and play again!

This was right after Gracie woke up from a nap so she was adjusting to being in a strange home with really strange people. She was so perfect though.

Our tickets are not good but we will be there! I can't believe I'll get to see so many country singers at one time. I may not sleep tonight just thinking about it. :) I have a feeling I'll be exhausted tomorrow night and Thursday but it will be so worth it. Whoopee!

So this morning I had typed up this blog post and bam! Emma turned off the computer. :( So now I'm doing it again and it's going to be short and sweet b/c I'm tired! George and I did a yoga type class at the gym today and it was intense. Sweat was dripping off me onto the floor and my shirt was soaked. I think I did too many Scorpion poses! :)

Anyways, yesterday we traveled to Pikeville, TN for Cathy's wedding. She was a gorgeous bride with a beautiful dress and we had fun. The kids did okay even though Hudson pooped right when the ceremony started and G had to walk down the aisle while everyone else was still as a mouse. Emma kept talking too so I missed most of the ceremony. Ah the excitement of kids!

When we got about 15 minutes from the house the most beautiful rainbow appeared and you could see the beginning and end. It was gorgeous and was wonderful to see after a perfect day. :)

Hudson's 6 Month Appointment

Poor little boy was just tortured today at his appointment. It was absolutely pitiful. We were there for an hour and a half and I was so thankful to leave with my screaming baby. :) First of all, he is doing great! He weighs 18 lbs 7 oz (75th%), length 28 inches (90th %), and his head was in the 50th percentile at 43.5 centimeters (I think cm). I think he's going to be tall like his daddy! So different from Emma who was never on the charts. :) My petite little beauty. Anyways, he is meeting all of the milestones for a 6 month old so that was great. Then came the fun part. A few months ago I had mentioned something to Dr. D about hair growth in the private areas. At the time she said not to worry about it but the hair is growing and stuff so she wanted to take blood and check out his testoterone levels, androgens, and something else. She said they could be normal but we need to make sure. So I was thinking they would do just a little finger or foot prick...oh no, it was a full on blood draw from the arm. :( I hate seeing my babies have their blood drawn. Mrs. Tara is the sweet nurse that always does it and she feels so bad. Emma held on to Hudson with me like a great big sister and of course he screamed forever. Then she had to put a big band aid on him which was soaked with blood so she had to rip it off and put another one. I think he cried more when she switched band aids! He finally calmed down and was ready to fall asleep when Michelle came in with 3 shots and the rotavirus liquid. Whew, what a day! Absolutely pitiful and I feel so bad for him. He cried all the way to the car and as soon as I strapped him in he was sound asleep. Emma was such a doll with him and after the last shots I bent down and kissed him and so did Emma. Love that little girl!

He really does weigh 18 lbs 7 oz! Emma weighed this at her 1 year!

Earlier today Emma and I were playing her Princess game. Hudson was dying to play with us so who am I to say no? :)

I'm so ready for the weekend. Tomorrow one of my friends from college is getting married so we are driving to TN for the wedding. I hope the kids behave themselves during the ceremony. Oh and the blood results will be back sometime later next week. Hopefully they will be normal. Off to put the kids to bed!

Emma loves to jump in the crib with Hudson when he wakes up. She'll hear him on the monitor and take off running in his room and squeal "HUDSON! he's awake mommy, he's awake!" It's so very cute. This morning I decided to snap a few pictures of them since we don't have a lot of them together.
I never could get Emma to open her eyes.

My little drooler...gosh I just love my two kiddos!

We aren't doing too much this afternoon. We met G for lunch at Earthfare and now Hudson is jumping so hard in his jumparoo I'm afraid he's trying to jump out! :) Oh did I mention he is done with his baby swing? I said something to G the other day about taking it down and he said now we can sell it. I secretly wanted to cry. I hate the thought of selling all of the baby stuff. I know I said I was done with the whole being pregnant business but Hudson has been so incredibly perfect it just makes it that much harder. His whole baby stage so far has been a walk in the park and he's just growing too fast. But them G keeps reminding me that he will one day be a back talking 2 year old. Not my sweet Hudson! :) Love me some babies!

Anywho, last Saturday we started repainting our shutters on the house and we have 3 completed. Our house looks lovely right now! :) I'm hoping it won't rain tonight so we can paint the other 7 when G gets home. The weeds have also taken over my flower beds and I must pick them before my lilies get lost in the craziness! Have I mentioned how beautiful my lilies are??? I need to take a new picture. So if anyone is looking to mow the yard, pick weeds, or paint shutters just stop by our house tonight and we'll have lots of fun!

Our Extra Long Weekend

It's been several days since my last blog post but we've been busy as usual. George was home for 4 days over Memorial Day weekend and I wish he was off like that every week. :)

Originally I thought we were going to Houston to watch my youngest brother graduate high school on Sunday but there was some miscommunication and the trip didn't work out. I was so bummed...just ask George. I should have clarified all of the details earlier but didn't worry about it until last minute so our plans changed quickly. After moping around for 2 days we decided to take Emma to Lake Winnie in Chattanooga, TN on Sunday. I've heard of Lake Winnie before but never realized what it was. I would describe it as an upscale fair. :) It was awesome! It turned out to be such a perfect day even with a little rain and the price for admission was awesome too. We ended up and drove Hudson & Braxton to G's parents house Saturday night. Then on our way up to Chattanooga Sunday morning we drove about 20ish minutes when BOTH of our cell phones died! And we didn't have a car charger! The first time I leave Hudson alone all day long and we don't even have a phone. Luckily there was a payphone at Lake Winnie so I was able to call and talk for $1 for 4 minutes. It was crazy. But Hudson did great and didn't even know we were gone. Emma had a blast too riding all of the rides. She's just like her mommy. I have always loved roller coasters and get so excited about theme parks and she's the same way. She kept wanting to ride more roller coasters and the get dizzy. :) We were running around to ride after ride and took a quick break to eat. She was so incredibly cute and I loved every minute of it. She was so exhausted that she fell asleep on the way home around 7pm and slept until the next morning. Fun times! I told George I can't wait until she's old enough to go to Six Flags!

Bookworm roller coaster! it was so funny there was this little girl maybe 6 or 7 years old sitting behind us and she started panicking when she got on. Her grandmother kept telling her it would be fine and the little girl lost it. Poor thing was begging the lady to stop the ride which she did and it was so sad. The grandmother kept saying "look at the little girl in front of you, she's not scared at all!" She was talking about Emma. During the ride everyone would hold their arms up high and Emma loved doing that.

Yesterday I ended up unpacking and cleaning house all day long. It was a disaster! Today I thought we would do something fun and we headed to Point Mallard. It was great even though the water was a little cold. Emma is still a fish in the water and I'm looking forward to swim lessons in 3 weeks. Here she is in one of her new bathing suits.

She started pushing Hudson in the swing and it was so sweet! She's been so so sweet to him recently and I love it. She's been paying him more attention than normal and loves to help feed him. I love watching them interact together!

I've realized that I don't take nearly the same amount of pictures of Hudson as I did with Emma. Probably b/c I just don't have the time but I feel guilty. So I'm really trying to take more of him especially since he is growing so fast!

This morning we were playing before everyone else woke up. He loves to be sitting up so he can see what's going on. He really loves to watch Emma!

I was watching 20/20 from last night and he caught a glimpse. He doesn't look very interested!

On Thursday after 1 month of being congested and already doing 10 days of Augmentin, I called the dr again and he's on another dose of it. I can already tell that he's on the up side so hopefully in a few days he'll be all better. The day after he started the 2nd dose he had so much green snot coming out of his nose. It was so yucky!

We had such a wonderful day today. I am just so happy that summer is here and I'm looking forward to lots of outside time with Emma. Today we met Daddy at Tommy's Pizza (ma fav!) for lunch, then we spent the afternoon playing in the fountains at Bridgestreet. I love that place! Emma had a blast and kept kicking the water when it would shoot up. Silly girl! Hudson slept part of the time but he enjoyed getting his feet wet too. At one point we took a break and got some frozen yogurt which we love! The kids were just perfect and napped on the way home. A perfect day!

I also wanted to document a few things that Emma has said recently that I think are funny. Yesterday we stopped by Ashli's house and she gave me an extra cherry slush for Emma. When Emma woke up I asked her if she wanted to try it and she said "no mommy I don't like it." Fast forward a few minutes and she starts asking me for the cup. She then tells me "my friends said that I would like it so I like it mommy b/c my friends tell me that I like it." It was so funny!

Also last night she got mad for a second and threw down her leapster on the floor after I told her not to. I got onto her for it and told her we needed to brush her teeth. She pops up and we are walking and she says "it's okay mommy i didn't mean to. I'm sorry mommy" and then she grabs my leg and says "we're still friends mommy, it's okay." She is such a doll. Love her to death!

She's said other funny things but I can't think right now. Oh I know one thing-she calls pancakes "panacakes" and it is so incredibly cute. She even has me calling them panacakes now!

Hudson at 6 Months Old!

My sweet Hudson, you turned 6 months old on May 23rd! My how time flies with 2 precious little kids! So what are you up to these days?

I think you are around 18 lbs and we will find out on June 4th at your 6 month appt
You are wearing size 3 diapers (Huggies)
You have 2 teeth! One tooth is almost completely in but the other one just broke through the gum last night. You've handled it fairly well considering you've been sick with a nasty cold for the past month!
You are getting really good at tummy time but you don't like to roll over. You've done it probably 10 times but that's it.
Yesterday you were on your tummy and I moved your toys to the side of you and you turned yourself around and grabbed your toys.
For the past couple of weeks you've wanted mommy to hold you the majority of the day.
You are on Stage 2 baby foods and have been for a week. You have had pretty much everything and love it all. Well green foods are not your fav but you eat like a champ! You love fruit!
You are eating about 6 oz of formula every 2.5-3 hours (around 30 oz a day)
I give you solids around 9am normally (fruit), then at lunch a fruit and then a vegetable for dinner with formula following immediately.
Bedtime is 7-8pm but normally closer to 7pm. You are so easy to fall asleep!
You love bath time! You love to splash the water everywhere.
You are wearing 9 month clothes
Not a huge fan of the car seat
You love it when I say "dada, mama, baba" and get a huge smile on your face
I love how you snuggle into my chest when you're tired and I'll sing you "Twinkle, Twinkle" or "Itsy Bitsy Spider" or the "doodlebug" song and you fall right asleep! :)

I'm On A Roll!

Today Emma got to play in her swimming pool on the deck but it was so hot that I didn't want Hudson outside. So I would sit with him by the back door and watch her and occasionally step outside with her. It was hard b/c Hudson screams when I put him down and he always wants me to hold him but we managed. Here he is watching Emma play!

Remember my lilies that I was wanting to bloom? Well they are finally blooming! For whatever reason the yellow ones are blooming first, then the orange, and I guess the red will be last. I've got one or two white ones too. I love all of them but I can't wait for them to all bloom at the same time! You will definitely see a picture.

Then in her usual Emma self she started putting on a dance show on the sidewalk! This girl puts on about 10 shows a day complete with a princess dress, jewelry, shoes, tiara, and usually a magic wand. She cracks me up with her shows. She'll find something to stand on like a box and then she'll stomp around, singing, clapping, etc and it is so cute. :)

It was getting dark out and the sky was so beautiful!

Gabby bought her some new pajamas at the Carter's outlet in Lebanon, TN and this set is so very adorable! She had put the skirt on earlier today and LOVED it so she was uber excited when I told her it was part of her pjs! She was watching Daddy very closely while he was teaching her a ballet move. :)

Hudson's 6 month post will have to wait until tomorrow. The day just got away from me!

Tomorrow is Gabby's birthday (Monday the 24th) so we went to TN to help her celebrate a little early. With Hudson & Emma having their colds we were worried to travel but it wasn't bad at all. My sweet babies! Hudson woke up from a nap in my bed this afternoon and Emma went in and snuggled with him. She's such a great big sister and I love seeing them together. :)

Even though he's all snotty and drooling like a mad man, he's still my happy little camper!

I just love this little guy to pieces! Emma and Hudson are the 2 greatest little things ever!

So far they are both doing better. Emma hasn't complained about her ears much this evening. I gave her Motrin in the afternoon along with her antibiotic and she's been great. Hudson is still coughing, sneezing, runny nose, and drooling but no fever when he went to bed. He's been stirring in his crib all night though so he might be waking up in the middle of the night. I sure do hope they get over this cold soon! I better get in the bed in case he wakes up. :)

Both Emma and Hudson are once again, sick. Boo, boo, boo! It was 2 weeks ago today that we were at Dr. D's office and I took Emma back today and it is the same exact thing. Both ears are infected really bad with the right ear being worse than the left. She woke up at 1am screaming her ears hurt and then all morning she would whine about them and hold them. Pitiful. Now she's on Omnicef for 10 days and Nasonex which she thinks is so fun! Strange kid I tell ya! Hudson started coughing again too along with a runny nose (clear), sneezing, and stuff and I decided not to have him checked out b/c it's not too bad and everything was clear. Well we were out in town all day, got home at 1:45ish and he's got a 101 fever. Yep, that's the way it works. He was fussy and his eyes just looked glassy. The nurse said to keep watching his fever and if it continues tonight we have to go back in the morning. UGH! They said obviously the Augmentin didn't work for either child which normally it does for Emma but who knows. I just want them better. I still have my cough which has gone on for 2 weeks but it is finally going away.

Hudson Has His 1st Tooth!!!

I seriously can't believe it! We were just going through teething with Emma it seems like! Hudson has been gnawing on his hands for a couple of months now and I knew this tooth was coming soon but definitely wasn't expecting it today. My little man is growing up! No more of those cute gummy smiles. :(

I had taken Emma to the park after the gym this morning and I put them both in the swings. He kept chewing on his bib like crazy and so I took a peek and sure enough, there it was! It is sharp! I think the one next to it is about to pop through so I'll have to watch for it. Maybe once George gets home we can get a picture of it. But as soon as we try to put our fingers in his mouth he clamps down so who knows. Oh and he's only 4 days away from being 6 months old!! Halfway to the year mark. They grow way too fast!

Woohoo It's Tuesday!

We have had such a lovely day today! I'm high on life right now and super chirpy so watch out! :) You see, Emma can be Miss Grumpy Pants when she wakes up in the morning but last night I ended up in her bed around 2:30am and she woke up in such a good mood. We laid in bed forever and she kept telling me not leave. We finally had to get up but it just makes me feel so great when she's happy ya know? Not too long after getting up I had 2 whole cups of coffee and it was amazing. For some reason the coffee just tasted extra yummy today. Then we headed to Chic-fil-a for lunch with our new friends. Playdates are always fun and uplifting. We finished lunch early so we all came back to the house and the girls played for a little bit. Poor Mary Selwyn didn't want to leave, she just wanted to play! It was pitiful! After resting up a bit we headed to the Pottery by You and ordered some stuff, grabbed an iced vanilla latte, and headed home to play before daddy arrived. Once G got home I did my couch to 5K run, ate dinner, and enjoying some family time. Sounds like a great day right? :)

Gabby's Mother's Day Gift!

Gabby & Ru-Rus came down yesterday afternoon because we had won tickets to the Chicago concert that the Huntsville Hospital Foundation put on. We had 4 tickets but due to no babysitter we let G's parents go out on the town all by themselves! They said it was great and had a wonderful time.

We ended up staying in Huntsville for Mother's Day this year so we were late giving Gabby her gift. I took the kids to Pottery by You (love that place!) last week and we made her a beautiful flower pot. It ended up being a huge ordeal b/c after 2 hours of me painting Emma had a GINORMOUS meltdown in the store and the owner had to carry Hudson out to the van for me while I tackled Emma. It was horrible to say the least but the pot turned out so great. Check it out below! Lots of sweat and tears were shed during the creation of this flower pot. :)

Gabby had told me that her favorite flower was probably a Gerber Daisy so Emma and I picked out some gorgeous pink daisies.

This is Emma's hand print and I painted a flower around it. Cute!

We used her thumb prints to make the bumblebee, butterfly, and ladybug. Also, the flowers were her thumb prints.

Hudson's feet! They turned out so well. Poor baby was so sick and sleeping in his carseat when I woke him up to paint his feet. He was not happy at all and I felt so bad afterward. But when Mommy has her mind set to do something, it gets done! :)

Mother's Day 2010! The funny thing is the owner of the store told me that most moms will do the hand/foot prints and then leave the pottery for them to finish up. I had thought I would do that too but I just felt like it would be more special if I painted it myself, flaws and all. So 2 hours later I was almost regretting that decision but I'm so glad I did it even with the meltdown. Gabby loved her gift and we were so happy!

Our Fun & Busy Day!

Recently our mornings have been starting around 6am and that is so not cool. Seriously, I don't know why Hudson thinks he should get up that early but it is absolute nonsense and it needs to stop. :)
I remember earlier in the week we had one of our early mornings and it just seemed to drag by. Well Emma asked for some cookies b/c we have this huge container of chocolate chunk cookie dough just calling our name in the fridge and so I said sure. Well I walk into the kitchen to turn on the oven thinking it was 10am but wouldn't you know, it was only 7:30! ha ha! I couldn't believe it but being the cookie freak that I am I made us some cookies. :) Shh, don't tell anybody.

On to today. We made it to the gym so Mommy could work off all of the calories from those darn chocolate chunk cookies I keep eating and I had a great workout. We won't mention that when I got home I made new cookies and ate those so all those calories I just burned off...blah!
After the gym I promised Emma we would hit up Chic-Fil-A b/c that seems to be her new fav spot. Well the little stinker has never been able to climb those steps in the play area until today. I was finishing up my lunch and let her go play and she walked into the playroom by herself and took off her shoes. She's such a big girl these days. Then after a few tries she was able to climb all the way to the top like a big girl and I was so proud! It was so cute when she made it up the first step and she looked right at me and had this huge smile on her face like she was on top of the world and I just wanted to stand up and start clapping. :) I'm just so proud of her and her determination.

After lunch we came home for a little bit and then headed over to our new friend's house for a swim date! We met Denise and her girls Mary Selwyn & Adeline through my friend Christy and they are so much fun! Unfortunately, their family is having to move back to Dothan, AL in a couple of weeks and I'm so bummed. We all seem to get along so well and I was really looking forward to another family with small children and now they are being taken away. But I'm really hoping we can stay in touch. Dothan isn't too terribly far away is it?
Anyways, they are living in an apt right now so we hung out at the kiddie pool today and it was gorgeous! Emma loves all water so she had a blast and Hudson slept the entire time. I even managed to squeeze back into my bathing suit which almost cut off my circulation but it worked. :) Here's a few pictures from our day!

We Love Summer!!!

I love spending so much time outside and taking walks around the neighborhood! This is such a wonderful time of year. I also love all of the beautiful flowers but unfortunately I don't think I'll have time to plant any new ones this year. But check out my amazing lilies below! They have multiplied and are going to bloom really soon. They are all different colors-red, yellow, orange, and one white one last year. Gorgeous!

I know I always talk about Emma and Hudson's gorgeous blue eyes but I just can't get enough of them. :) When I was pregnant with Hudson I would always wonder if he would have those big blue eyes like Emma's and would he have those long thick eyelashes. Well he does and I LOVE it! Everywhere we go people comment on both of their eyes and it just tickles me pink!

Emma was watering the flowers for me and then got mad b/c she wanted to ride her bike but Hudson was in her way. Go figure. She's 3 and her moods change every other second. :) My strong willed child in action!

I'm so very proud of her b/c she is getting so much better at riding her big girl bike! She's growing like a weed!

Oh and today I signed Emma up for the 3 year old Stage Arts 1 class at The Dance Company! She will start the end of August and go 1 night a week. She is so so so excited and she wanted to start today! It's so hard to explain to a 3 year old that you have to wait until the end of August. I keep telling her that after she starts school (MDO) that she'll start dance and she talks about it all.the.time! Every time we pass by the church (right down the road from the house) where she'll attend MDO she says that is her school and she's going to go a couple of days a week. It's so cute to hear her talk about it. Mommy just wants to cry thinking about it. Oh and she is always talking about her birthday party we had in Feb so I've started asking her how old she's gonna be at her next birthday and she'll say 4. Well that just kills me! Ugh, I can't think of having a 4 year old. How do you parents do it??? I just get so emotional at all of these "firsts" and want to cry. I'm such a sappy person.

Today I had a dentist appt and my dear friend Ashli came over to watch the kids for me and then George and I went to work out. Well before I left Emma kept saying she was going to miss me while I was gone and she was going to love me when I got back. Is she not the sweetest thing? We always say "I love you to the moon and back" at bedtime and recently she's started saying "I love you to the forest and back!" and man, it gets me everytime. She's such a big girl now.

Mommy & Hudson (Emma was sleeping)

Happy Mother's Day to all the mommy's out there and to my mom, mother-in-law, and my wonderful granny Scott & granny Dunham!

The family let me sleep in this morning and a couple of times Emma would wake me up by banging on the door with her golf clubs and other random things. I would hear daddy telling her to be quiet & mommy was sleeping and Emma would say she wanted to see her mommy. It was funny.
After I woke up we got ready super fast so we could drive to Carabba's before they were on a big wait. We got a table immediately and had some yummy food! The manager was visiting each table and he gave us a $10 certificate to use the next time we eat there. I love me some Carabba's!
George and Emma surprised me with a gift card to the Westin Spa this morning and they are having a mother's day special so I called them after we got home to schedule. Turns out they had a cancellation at 4:30 today so I get to be pampered for 80 whole minutes!!! That's my favorite thing in the world. I could be pampered 24/7 and be happy. :)
Emma also made me a super cute card that said "To Mommy" on the front and inside it says "I Love U To Tae" which is supposed to read "to the moon and back" which is what we always say. I'll have to take a picture and show it off.

On the Road to Recovery!

The kids are finally getting better and I'm so happy! It was so hard for me seeing Hudson sick and just not being his normal happy self. He would get choked and start coughing and then couldn't catch his breath b/c of the mucous and it broke my heart. I ended up taking them both to the pedi on Thursday b/c Hudson had yellow stuff coming out of his nose and then around lunch time that day Emma started screaming that her left ear hurt. It just came out of nowhere so I wasn't sure if she was just pretending b/c Hudson was sick or if she really hurt. So both of them were seen by Dr. D and Hudson just has a bad cold with lightly infected ears but Emma's ears were really infected! The funny thing is she kept screaming that her left ear hurt but her right ear was the really bad one. So we told her that both ears were infected and she would say "no it's not both ears, it's just my left ear!" It was funny. Hudson also started having yellow stuff ooze out of his eyes (mainly his left eye) while we were at the office but by the next day it was much better. Both kids are on Augmentin for 10 days and Motrin & you can tell a huge difference! But unfortunately, mommy is starting to cough and it hurts. I really hope I don't come down with it.

We also found out that Hudson weighs 17 lbs 2 oz!!! He's so big! Emma was still 25 lbs so he will be catching up soon. I can't believe it!

Hudson is Pitiful!

My sweet baby boy has caught his first cold and it is breaking mommy's heart. :( Last week Emma and I had a stomach virus and she ran a low fever and then she started coughing and had a runny nose. Well then Hudson started coughing but his was just a dry cough. Then a couple of days ago it turned into a congested sounding cough, sneezing constantly, and a snotty nose. He has so much mucous in his throat and sometimes he gets choked on it and it scares the bajeezus out of me! Emma never got sick as a baby so this is new to me and my stomach has just been in knots b/c of it. I called Michelle (nurse) yesterday and talked to her but since he isn't running a fever, is still eating, we decided not to take him in. Yesterday afternoon I was ready to break down and cry b/c Hudson screamed for over 30 minutes non stop and then Emma had thrown a huge huge tantrum in public and had to be dragged out of the store. It was bad! So when Hudson started screaming once we got home it was rough. Then he would start choking and I didn't know what to do. Luckily not long after George got home Hudson calmed down and was good all night. He did wake up at 3:45am and stayed up until 5am but he was in good spirits. Poor little guy! I'm ready for the sickies to be gone!

Right before George got home from work today Emma somehow busted her lip on the rocking chair ottoman. I don't know how she manages to always hurt herself but she does. Poor thing cried and lots of blood was coming out but she's okay. It sure does look painful!

This was Hudson from yesterday I think. We were playing in Emma's room so I propped him up on her pillow. He looks thrilled doesn't he?

Today I was giving Emma dance lessons (poor child!) and she wore her leotard and skirt that Aunt Beth bought her. She loves to dance & I'm hoping we spare some extra money each month in the fall & enroll her in dance lessons.

I have still been under the weather from this stinky stomach virus so G sent me flowers to the house today! I was super surprised. They are absolutely gorgeous and smell so wonderful! Emma kept saying that daddy sent them to her and she was so happy so I told her we could share. :)

Hudson's 5 Month Stats

Woohoo my big boy is 5 months old! Check out the outfit below that he is wearing. This was one of George's outfits as a baby and it fits Hudson perfectly. I love the colors and stripes and Hudson looks thrilled to be wearing it right? :)

You eat 6 oz every 3 hours at most feedings
We started giving you baby food after 4 months b/c you have a big appetite! So far you've tried prunes, bananas, apples, sweet potatoes, squash, green beans and I think that's it. You also love rice cereal so I started doing rice cereal for your 2nd feeding of the day and then a baby food at lunch and rice cereal at dinner. You gobble it up and make happy sounds as I feed you. :)
You finally ROLLED OVER! On Monday the 26th I ran to the kitchen to get Emma a lunchable and then I heard you fussing like you do when you are on your belly and sure enough you had rolled from back to belly for the 1st time. Then yesterday I was sitting right beside you and I was helping Emma with a toy and next thing I know there is a little booger on my feet! You rolled from belly to back and once again I wasn't paying attention!
So far you are still a great sleeper! You normally go down around 7:30pm and wake from 6:30-7:15am. If you are still awake after your bottle I can just lay you down with your Fisher Price aquarium and you put yourself to sleep.
Naps are not the best right now but that's fine b/c you are perfect all day long. You usually nap around 8:30 or 9am for maybe 30ish minutes and then in the afternoon 1-3pm you normally take a good nap.
You can sit up with assistance and you don't want to lay down anymore.
When I give you my hands you try to pull up b/c you always want to stand!
You like playing with toys
I am pretty sure you are teething b/c you've been rather fussy since Monday and you want to chew on my hands constantly. Of course I don't let you but it is funny. I gave you some tylenol this morning to see if that would help and it did.
You love to make the motorboat or "spitting" noises and it is so cute! Especially when you are eating food and it goes flying everywhere. :)
"Da-da" is the funniest word ever to you and whenever I say it you giggle uncontrollably. No other words have the same effect.

That's all I can think of for now! Hudson you are the calmest most adorable little boy and you make us so happy!

Whew, I can't believe today is Wednesday! I had a stomach virus on Saturday and finally started feeling better yesterday when Emma came down with the fever. She is feeling much better today and luckily hasn't thrown up. She was quite pitiful last night though. She is the sweetest most loving little girl when she is sick. :) Hopefully the sickies are on the way out the door!

Hudson is 5 Months Old!

I can't believe my sweet little baby boy is 5 months old today. I was just telling George earlier today that this same weekend last year I went to Crestwood Hospital on Sunday morning to have my hcg levels checked. I was 4-5 weeks pregnant and now my big boy is sitting up with assistance and has the sweetest giggles. We are out of town this weekend so on Sunday (hopefully) I'll post 5 month pictures and let you know what Mr. Hudson has been up to!

Oh My, He's Growing Too Fast!

Look at those big blue eyes! Man, he is a handsome little guy. :) Today while Emma was napping (5pm-7pm!) Hudson and I had some great one on one time. I noticed the past couple of days that he's able to sit unassisted for a little bit (not long at all) so today I wanted to put the boppy behind him and see how he did. He did awesome! He sat by himself for several minutes. I can't believe he will be 5 months old in just a few days. The next thing we know he'll be having his 1st birthday party. :( He's just growing so fast and becoming such a little charmer. He's so perfect all day and very rarely cries. Just an all around good baby.

He has been drooling like a mad man for several weeks now but today it just seems to be worse! He soaks all of his clothes, jumparoo, and bibs.

He's got the sweetest laugh too!

Tons O Fun in Nashville!

A couple of weeks ago (the day after Easter) the kids and I loaded up and headed to Nashville to see our awesome cousins Monya & Melica. My granny was there too and we had a wonderful visit. Emma always loves to play with the girls and I love eating Aunt Marsha's great food & putting on the pounds. :) Here's a couple of pics from out trip.

The girls had Reese's pb eggs & Snickers eggs and they hid them outside for Emma to find. It was fun and of course, Emma LOVES anything that involves chocolate.

And just like last year we celebrated Emma's birthday in Nashville since they weren't here for her actual bday party. Emma was so excited about this cake b/c she loves Dora & it was so yummy! With our incredibly warm weather finally here I bought Emma and Hudson a nice big (not really) pink swimming pool at BRU yesterday. Emma was so excited to put her swimming suit (2T still) on jump in the water. Well that was until we had 3 bumblebees scare the bajeesus out of us! But mommy saved the day and squashed 2 of those bees! :) There was lots of squealing involved and a few girly jumps but luckily no one was watching.

She can be the sweetest thing when she wants!

Hudson got hungry while she was playing so I moved the chair and bouncy seat in front of our back door so I could feed him and watch her at the same time. I'm learning to handle them both but sometimes it is a challenge. Anyways, Emma ran in and I had her hold his bottle while I snapped some cute pictures of his blue eyes.

Last night George and I met with a personal trainer at this new Empire Fitness in Madison. They give you 2 weeks free and 2 free sessions so we took advantage. They also provide free childcare & that was absolutely wonderful! Emma had so much fun and didn't cry one bit and the workers had fun passing Hudson around and of course he was a doll. The kids and I went back today and it was so nice to hand them off to play while I worked out for a whole 3o minutes with NO interruptions and quiet time. There weren't any kids while we were there today so Emma did not like that and she cried a little at first but then she was fine. She kept asking where the other boys and girls were at!

We've got a super busy weekend ahead and hopefully I'll make time to post more pictures!

Sunday Funday!

I decided to take a break from posting Easter pictures today and post some from yesterday and Friday. Yesterday I woke up at 5am to participate in our neighborhood yard sale. I was so tired! But we made a little bit of money and it was fun to talk to people and get rid of tons of junk. I also got major sunburn on my face! No fun at all and I'm hoping it doesn't peel but it probably will.

Emma found my high school graduation cap in one of the totes and she had so much fun putting it on. Too soon & it will be her turn. *sigh*

Yesterday afternoon I was in the bedroom & grabbed my Carmex off the little 3 tier shelf. I turned around & next thing I know Emma was on the floor with the shelf on top of her and my heavy duty candle plate with 3 candles, sand, and rocks was behind her head. Poor thing started crying and I picked her up. She busted her lip up and we thought one of her bottom teeth was loose but I think it's okay. She also has 3 huge knots on her head and you can see them in the picture below. They are red and starting to bruise up a bit. She hardly cried at all which always amazes me! She is covered in bruises all over her legs, arms, and back and sometimes I am afraid people think we abuse her (joking) but she is so clumsy! Right after her fall yesterday she managed to trip herself and fall 3 or 4 more times!

We are finally home after a long Easter weekend and I've been trying to get our house in order. I had to leave it a complete mess last Thursday and it is just now getting back to normal. It is nowhere near perfect but I can live with it. :)

This year we spent Thursday to Sunday in Cookeville & Sparta visiting family and then on Monday the kids and I drove up to Nashville to spend time with more family. We had so much fun but I'm glad to be home and not living out of a suitcase. The kids did really well with all of the traveling and I've very thankful for that!

I've got tons of pictures and hopefully I can remember to post a few at a time over the next couple of days.

Emma got a big girl Princess bike last Wednesday. She's having a hard time adjusting to the brakes when she pedals.

Botanical Gardens!

Today we spent a few hours at the Botanical Gardens here in Huntsville and we had such a wonderful time! We've not been there since the 1st year that we moved here and we just walked around that time. Well right now they have the tree house exhibit going on and it was so cool! Several different people have created these tree houses and they have maybe 6 or 7 of them around the gardens. They were so much fun! We met some friends of ours over there and that made it even more fun to walk around and let the kiddos play together. We will definitely be going back!

The first tree house we visited was like a big boat and it had 2 swings hanging from it. Emma loves anything that involves swinging!

Gorgeous Weather!

We've spent most of the day outside and I'm loving it! We met George at Tommy's Pizza (my fav!) for lunch and then it was off to Dublin Park. Emma loves that place so much. We spent about 2 hours there and then I had to make her leave. At least she doesn't put up too much of a fight. Tomorrow is supposed to be 80 and then Thursday 82 degrees!!! I can't believe it. Our family is so ready for summer and swimming!

Hudson even got to try out the swings today! I barely pushed him but he enjoyed it. He is not a fan of the bright sun but he did super. I need to get him a cute little baby hat and some cool shades. :)

Hudson at 4 Months!

My sweet little man turned 4 months old on March 23rd and he is growing like a weed. He is so incredibly good and just the easiest baby ever! Here's a few things that Hudson is doing at 4 months:

weighs 15 lbs (50th percentile)
over 25 inches long (75th percentile)
got 2 shots and drank the rotavirus stuff & hardly cried
wearing 6-9 month clothing
size 2 diapers (huggies & pampers)
loves his baths!
tried rice cereal on Thursday March 25th and gobbled it up!
likes to sit in the jumparoo for a few minutes and moves around/grabs for the toys
started grabbing for toys in the past 2 weeks
still not rolling over and not a big fan of tummy time
had started taking 5-7 oz of formula about 3ish weeks ago but after his shots that has decreased to 3-4.5 oz
still sleeping through the night from about 8:30pm-6:30-7:30am

I know there is more but I can't think right now. He's just a happy baby and loves watching his sister play. Here's a few more pics from today!

Have I mentioned lately that Hudson is the most adorable little man I've ever seen? :) He just could not get any more perfect in my opinion. Such a dollface and I'm loving every single minute of this little dude.

And the newest addition to our family-the 2010 Honda Odyssey!!!!! Now that we have 2 kids we really needed a mini van for all of our trips to TN, vacations, and just lugging stuff around town. We finally decided on the Odyssey and I got my favorite car color-dark gray! So far I am loving it but I've only driven it home. It has lots of buttons and stuff that I need to play with and I can't wait to haul stuff in it. She's a beauty!

I haven't felt like blogging the past several days but I am back! We were busy last week with dr's appts at the end of the week and didn't do too much over the weekend. Hudson saw Dr. Dudley on Wednesday for something and he weighed 14 lbs 2 oz! Such a chunk! Then Emma saw Dr. Judy on Thursday for a check up and her lungs sounded great. We get to cut back on her Symbicort to once a day and we go back in 4 months. He is talking about cutting her dosage in half too since she's on the highest dose right now and maybe next summer she will get to come off it completely! They won't take her off during the winter months so that's why there is no possibility until next year. We always love going to Dr. Judy & Dr. Mahesh's office!

Emma is still obsessed with Yo Gabba Gabba and the other day she drew these pictures all by herself and did the writing. I was feeding Hudson and had to take a pic when I saw it! This is her version of YGG and she tried to write their names. :)

I'm absolutely loving this amazing weather! I really hope it doesn't get cold again. I might just cry. :) My cousin Kelsey came down today and is spending a couple days of her spring break with us. She informed me earlier that the only reason she came down was so she could eat some sushi. They don't have any good sushi places back in Cookeville so she drove 3 hours just to get some. What a stinker! We were going to go to Surin's in Madison but I've talked her in to going to the hibachi grill on County Line Rd. I'm so excited! Love the hibachi!

Today we spent some time outside but then we told Emma it was too hot so we had to come inside. How funny is that?! Hudson did not like the brightness outside. I don't know what we are gonna do this spring/summer when Emma wants to go out and Hudson wants to be in. We'll cross that bridge later. Now enjoy some pics from today!

Hudson is growing so fast! I put him on the scale with me a few days ago and he weighed 15 lbs! We go back to Dr. Dudley on the 25th I think so that'll be exciting! Last night G and I went to the Wizard of Oz at the VBC. Our friend Mark plays trumpet in the show so he hooked us up with free tickets! It was awesome! The show was super funny. I yawned almost the entire time and struggled to stay awake but I was just so tired. It was a long day yesterday. After the show we got to visit with Mark for a few minutes and tonight George is going to hang out with him after the show. Our amazing friends Ashli & BJ watched the monkeys for us and put them both to bed. They are so brave! I was so worried about leaving them both at bedtime but they did wonderful. Thanks Ashli & BJ for being so wonderful to us!!! It is so nice to get out of the house & have adult time.

That's about it for now. Hopefully going to enjoy this nice weather for a few days and my cousin Kelsey is planning on coming down next week on her spring break. Super excited for that!

Today we went to Chad & Jessica's house to play with Hayden. Hayden arrived 5 days before Hudson and we share the same OB. She came out with a head full of dark hair and is just the sweetest little thing! Her Hudson are about the same size and just so darling together. Emma's Big Girl Comforter!

For the past year I've been looking for Emma a super cute girly comforter for her bed. I've always loved the ones at Pottery Barn but I couldn't make up my mind on which one and they can be rather pricey. So now 1 year later I finally broke down and ordered one! I'm so bad at making decisions. I stress over it and lose sleep over it (crazy I know) and I'm so proud of myself for making it happen. :) When the UPS man pulled up I was jumping up and down inside! Emma loves it and immediately jumped under the covers to sleep (didn't last long). I wasn't going to get yellow but I just couldn't stop thinking about the Emily Quilt. Now I have to get her some new bed sheets b/c hers don't match at all and she needs a bed skirt. PB's were just too expensive for me.

And a cute picture of my two babies this morning in our bed. Hudson will just stare at Emma and smile. Love it!

Oh and Hudson GIGGLED for the very first time 2 nights ago while Daddy was barking at him. Strange I know. I kept trying to upload the video of it yesterday but blogger won't upload my videos anymore. Maybe it's our new camera. He's also been sleeping through the night the past 3 nights!!! Finally at 13 weeks he's got it down. He normally doesn't go to bed though until 10 or 11pm but he sleeps till 6am and I will take it!

We have a really busy weekend. Tonight we are going to Paul & Carmen's house for dinner/games...tomorrow shopping for a MINI-VAN!!! :) Then tomorrow night our friend Katie is coming over for dinner and then on Sunday we are going to visit Miss Hayden!!! Going to be a great weekend!

Prayers for My Granny & Pictures Galore!

First of all, tomorrow is my Granny Scott's birthday and she is having back surgery at good ol Vanderbilt Hospital. She's been down there since yesterday receiving two blood transfusions b/c the chemo she is on has made her platelets really low. The surgery itself shouldn't take long I've been told and she should get to go home on Thursday but it is still scary. She could use lots of prayers and positive thoughts these next couple of days. :)

Not a whole lot to report here except for the 1st time ever Hudson has slept over 8 hours!!! He's 13 weeks now and I'm hoping he continues to sleep all night. It's so nice to get more than 4 hours at a time. He also has been eating more today. Every 3 hours today he has eaten 4-4.5 oz which is more than normal. Such a big boy these days!

Over the weekend we had such a blast with the warm weather and playing outside. We went to Bridgestreet, rode the teacups, and went to Dublin Park. Now it's back to the 40's. :(

Oh and I forgot to update about Emma's 3 year appointment with Dr. Dudley! We went on Feb. 11th. Emma was 26 lbs at the office (24 lbs at home) and 36 inches tall. She can ride most of the rides at Disney being 36 inches! :) She didn't get any shots or anything and Dr. Dudley was very proud of her. Mommy was proud too b/c I took both kiddos by myself having to carry a sleeping emma in one arm and Hudson in his carseat in the other. Mommy got a workout! I also have to note that Emma is a master Candyland player. We've played 3 or 4 times together now and she beats me every single time! It's so exciting to play games with her and I look forward to family game nights as the kids get older. Now on to pictures...

She is quite the photographer these days! She will take pictures around the house for an hour if I let her. She loves to photograph me, Hudson, her Sesame Street babies and so on. So cute!

She lined them all up (as usual) for a group picture and then she did individual shots.

I got out the Jumparoo today that my grandparents bought Emma. I know he is still young but I need to get it cleaned up b/c soon he'll be jumping away! I sat him in it for a sec & snapped a couple of pics. He fell asleep on me. :)

We've been rather busy these past couple of days and this weekend is going to be super busy so I thought I better post new pics now while I have a chance! Emma has had a cold this week and ran a low fever but luckily she is getting better. I also had a girls night out with Ashli last night and we went to Carabba's for dinner and then the Jason Aldean/Luke Bryan concert...it was A-MAZING! Loved every minute of it! I sure was tired today but it was so worth it.

12 Weeks Old!

Our sweet little man is already 12 weeks old! I keep saying where has the time gone? I just can't believe how much faster time flies when you have 2 kids. I had so much more spare time with Emma and now my days just fly by and I can't stay caught up with anything it feels like. But I love it! I'm telling ya, he is the sweetest baby boy I have ever seen. His smile just lights up any room and he is so very good. I love my little boy so much and can't imagine our life without him. Love love love him!

Here's a few things about Hudson at 12 weeks old:

still eating 3.5-4 oz most feedings every 3 hours
I'm guessing he weighs 13-14 lbs
sleeps the day away still!
wakes up 1x night, eats and goes right back to sleep
has the most infectious smile
has a sweet little laugh but still waiting on the big belly laugh
he loves to just lay on the floor and look around (he loves the ceiling fan/tv)
wears 3-6 month clothes but due to length he will be out of those soon
size 2 diapers-Huggies & Pampers Swaddlers but I think the Huggies are my fav
takes a soothie paci occasionally
size 2 nipples on his bottles

That's all I can think of for now. He's just growing like a weed and such a blessing. He's always so content and very rarely cries. He still does his cute little cough/snort when he's hungry and I just love it. :)

Nothing much going on other than enjoying the snow we've been getting and looking forward to spring/summer. I got Emma signed up for MDO starting in August on Tuesday/Thursdays from 9-1pm. I'm hoping and praying she doesn't get sick every week b/c it will break my heart. I think she will really enjoy school though and it'll give Hudson and I some time together.

I'll do my best to take some new pictures this week!

Been Awhile!

It feels like I've been gone forever from the blogworld but I guess it's only been maybe a week. We took the kids home for the 1st time since Hudson's been born and we hadn't been home since last August or September! That's definitely the longest stretch of time that we've not been to Cookeville/Sparta ever!

Last Wednesday the 10th was Emma's 3rd birthday and we just stayed around the house since George had to work. We did go to Emma & Grace's house for a playdate and then had a nice spaghetti dinner & opened just a couple of presents. We only got her a few little things b/c we plan to purchase a wooden swingset soon. Then on Thursday night after George got home from work we headed to TN and just got home yesterday. We had lots of people to see so there was no downtime but it was fun. Now we are back to hanging around the house and enjoyed the snow this morning! :)

I made a Muno poster and we played tape the eye on Muno b/c he has one big eye in the middle of his face. Emma got to go first and she didn't understand that the whole point of the game is you can't see where you are sticking the eye. She cheated of course by tilting her head back so she could see underneath the blindfold. It was so funny!

Present time! Ella got her these really fun building blocks and Emma has played with them all day. Love them!

This awesome little Pony toy was from the Givens family and it is so much fun! The pony rides on a scooter and it has a remote control to make her go forward or spin in circles. Emma and Mommy have so much fun with it!

Pinata time! Yes, we had a pinata in our living room in front of our nice flatscreen tv. :) I had originally planned to do it in the garage but it was so cold yesterday so Ru-Rus rigged up this pole and it worked out perfectly! The boombox was so strong that it took forever to break but it finally did and the kiddos cleaned up the candy fast. I know the parents loved me after all that candy.

Overall the party was a success! I had stressed for weeks over this party but we had so much fun. I love having people over to the house and Emma enjoyed playing with all of her friends. I've already told George that next year we are going to the Jump Zone or the Little Gym or somewhere that will host parties. I swear I spent more money on all the little stuff and stressed so much that going somewhere would be much easier. But I'm glad we did it & Emma was happy. That's all that matters really. :) Her official birthday is this Wednesday the 10th and tomorrow I'm going to attempt to enroll her in Mother's Day Out at a church near our house. Hopefully she will get a spot! Then on Thursday she has her 3 year appointment with Dr. Dudley. We have a busy week ahead!

Today we celebrated Emma's 3rd birthday (Feb 10th is her actual birthday) with a Yo Gabba Gabba party. She had a lot of fun with her friends and everything turned out just perfect. I'll post more tomorrow but here are a couple of pictures for now...

Emma and I made some Valentine sugar cookies this morning and had fun decorating them. Well really we had fun eating them! Emma is such a sweets kind of girl (gets it from her momma!) and I couldn't keep her little fingers out of the icing & M&Ms! I, on the other hand, have a belly ache from eating all of that sugar. Normally I am fine with lots of sugar but today it just didn't settle well. I guess Emma will have to eat ALL of the cookies herself! :)

Today since it was in the 50's I took Emma to Dublin Park to play. We get so tired of being cramped up in the house & it felt good to get some fresh air. Emma kept saying "Mommy, this is so great!" while she was swinging and she had a blast!

A friend of mine bought Hudson this shirt when he came home from the hospital & it is 0-3 months. It has been hanging in the closet ever since and I kept thinking that it was huge but he would eventually fit into it. Well today I decided to give it a try but still thought it was not going to work...WRONG! It is almost too small! ha! I can't get over how fast he is growing and soon he's going to be in 3-6 month clothes. I only have 1 or 2 outfits that are 3-6 months so on Saturday I'm hitting up Old Navy to get him some new clothes. My sweet little chunky monkey! His poor little sister can't seem to get past 25 lbs but that's probably because she doesn't eat. :)

Not too much to report right now & I'm trying to hurry with this post before Hudson wakes up and is ready to eat! When the boy is hungry he is hungry NOW! He does this cute little fake cough thing when he's hungry and let me tell you, it is so sweet! :)

Last weekend George's parents came down to watch the kiddos while G and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary. We are so thankful that they can come down and babysit for us. On Friday night we went to Connor's at Bridgestreet and on Saturday we watched Avatar. Great movie! I had a wonderful time with George and can't wait for our next date night.

Nothing new with the kiddos besides getting ready for Emma's 3rd birthday in 2 weeks! Can you believe she'll be 3? Not me. I've been having some major anxiety over it (like I do for every birthday) and today I ordered her party supplies. I wasn't going to do a party this year but she keeps talking about having one so we decided to invite a few kids over for pizza, cake, and ice cream. Oh and she officially decided on a Yo Gabba Gabba party! She's so obsessed with that show & I'm so sick of watching it! :) But definitely looking forward to the party.

9 weeks old already!

This was taken this morning while I was changing brother's diaper. Emma kept saying "take one of me!" Notice her big yellow bruise? She is so clumsy! She ran into the counters or something in the kitchen over the weekend & that was the result. I'll always ask her "Emma, are you clumsy?" b/c she is and she'll say "no mommy, I'm Emma Bemma!" So funny!

I love this picture! Emma brought Roselyn in and had to lay her next to Hudson. G's parents got this cabbage patch doll for her when Hudson was born and she loves her. Hudson & Roselyn kind of look alike don't ya think? :)

Big Couple of Days!

Hudson had his big 2 month appointment on Tuesday! Poor little guy got 3 shots and the Rotovirus liquid. He cried during the shots but then he was fine as soon as she finished. Emma just wanted to watch him get them and it didn't bother her. Other than that the appointment was uneventful and he goes back toward the end of March for his 4 month. :)

Here's a few little facts about little man at 2 months:

He's still drinking on average 3.5 oz every 3 hours (except he's not been drinking as much since his shots)
Wakes up usually once in the middle of the night and then early in the morning
Still sleeps majority of the day
Started smiling and cooing earlier this week!
Very happy content baby
Goes a few days between dirty diapers now. That's nice!
Loves to swing and just lay in the floor and look around
Still not a huge fan of baths
Just recently started drinking formula 1-2 times a day-Similac Sensitive (orange label)

That's all I can think of right now. Hudson is still such a good baby and I love to just shower him in kisses! Emma is still doing good with him but I can tell she's been more jealous these past couple of weeks. I am trying to get better at giving her more attention but sometimes it is just hard.

Now for more exciting news! Aunt Patsy & Uncle Dennis sent the kids a package the other day and Emma LOVES the feathers they sent. She wears this all the time!

I've been so ecstatic that Hudson is smiling & cooing and I finally got proof! :) I took these pics this morning while changing his diaper and I had to move fast. I just love that big gummy smile!

And our last big thing this week was getting Emma's very 1st haircut today! Anna cuts our hair so we took her there. Emma did fairly well but she was a little scared. She didn't cry though. All we did was trim the dead ends and she evened it out a little. I wanted to cry as we drove there this morning but then once we got there I was fine. It's just another part of her growing up and I just can't take it sometimes. I need change in small doses. :) With her 3rd birthday quickly approaching I'm trying to hold it all together and not be sad. It's hard having the 1st baby grow up!

To top our week off, tomorrow is mine and George's 5 year wedding anniversary! His parents are coming down tomorrow so we are planning on dinner at Connor's and hopefully watching Avatar on Saturday. We have been together a total of 9 years this year & married 5...can't believe it!

Today my aunt Starlena & Uncle John came down to visit from Cookeville! It was their first time meeting Hudson and they also brought down Christmas presents. Emma was thrilled to see more presents! We had a wonderful visit with them and even went to eat at Rosie's. It was a great day!

Emma got Minnie Mouse! She's been playing with her all day!

Bling bling! While we were at Disney this summer Starlena picked up a Belle necklace & earrings for Emma. They are so cute & Emma loves them!

Now on to Hudson's present! Emma wants to open everything she sees whether it is hers or not. :)

Hudson loves to lay on the floor and just look around. He has starting making noises here and there and he even smiled at me being silly this morning! I've been working on making him smile for awhile and yesterday I thought he did, but I know without a doubt this morning it was the real thing. :)

So I just read that the temp got over 60 degrees today! Wow! Too bad we haven't been outside. I got the kids all loaded up earlier in the car and we were going to get a coffee, Emma a cookie, and just drive around...well the car wouldn't start. :( Ru-Rus thinks it might be the battery so George is going to pick up a new one on the way home from work and hopefully that will fix it. So we've been stuck. Now for some new pics!

Nothing else to report this week. On Tuesday Hudson has his 2 month pedi appt & will get some shots. :( Then next Friday is mine & George's 5 year wedding anniversary! This year will make 9 years that we've been together. We'll probably just do dinner & hopefully watch a movie but that's about it. Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Oh how I just love having a baby again! I feel like I can enjoy it a little more this time around. Not that I didn't enjoy Emma as a baby more than anything in the world but it is just easier this time around. So sweet! He is a great cuddler!

Hearts and Craps!

This morning I asked Emma if she wanted to do some arts & crafts. She loves to use her scissors & glue. So she was all excited and then said "mommy, are we going to do hearts and craps?" and I said "no Emma, arts and crafts" trying to place emphasis on each word. Once again she says "no mommy, hearts and craps." Oh the funny things two year olds say. She truly thinks it is called hearts and crafts! She has always called it that but I want to make sure we all remember it.

Here's a few pictures from tummy time this morning. Hudson has some great head control so when I remember I try to let him do tummy time. He likes it for a few minutes and then he's over it. Don't you think he's looking alot older??? I can't believe how fast they grow! He's such a sweet little boy...

NICU/Huntsville Havoc Night!

Tonight was the 3rd or 4th annual (can't remember) NICU fundraiser at the Huntsville Havoc hockey game. This was our 3rd year going (I think) and it was a blast! Yeah it was definitely our 3rd year b/c the first year Emma was young and then last year we met Kylie and Ella there and this year. Okay, I'm not officially crazy yet. :) George stayed home with Hudson and we met our dear friends there again. I think I could talk to Kylie for hours and never run out of things to say. They are a blast to be around. When we were leaving the game tonight Emma kept saying "I don't want to go home. I want to go to the hockey game!" She was so tired and fell asleep not long after we got in the car. It was a great night!

For the NICU game night they give away an item to the first 1,000 people that bring in items for the NICU and this year they gave away a cute cute lunchbox! The girls just loved their lunchboxes and once again, I couldn't get a picture of them looking at me together. One or the other was inspecting the lunchbox while the other looked.

This year all of the Havoc players wore jerseys with footprints on them that represent some of the children that were in the NICU. Emma's footprints are on the jerseys and they let us get a picture made with the whole Havoc team after the game! It was so exciting (and COLD!) and I can't wait to see the picture. Here we are waiting to go on the ice. We are supposed to get a copy of the picture so hopefully I can show it. They also auctioned off the jerseys after the game again but we didn't stay for it this year b/c Emma was tired and it was soooo cold. I can't wait to hear how much money was raised for the NICU.

In other news, this morning Emma came out of her room and said she was going to town to buy something for her baby Rosalyn. She cracks me up! I loved how she was dressed to go town so I had to take a pic. She kept wearing this around ALL day. :)

Lastly, we have had so much static on our microsuede couches recently and it really affects Emma and her hair. Well last Sunday I bought Static Guard stuff and sprayed it on but it made it worse! I'm not very happy about it. We have been shocking each other left & right and our clothes are all full of static. Ugh, it's a nightmare! But it is so funny b/c Emma's hair will stand straight out when she gets near the couches and George finally got a picture of it before the game. It's really funny when her hair is down too. Hopefully it will get better soon. Tomorrow I might take dryer sheets & run them over the couches. Awful!

On Saturday we made the big trip to Nashville to see Aunt Marsha, Uncle Jim, and the girls. Hudson did great and slept most of the trip. We had a great time playing with the girls and eating some yummy food. Thanks for having us Aunt Marsha and we will be back soon!

George's family came down last Sunday to celebrate Christmas with us since we couldn't make it to TN this year and we had such a wonderful time visiting with everyone. We didn't get too many pics but here are several from their visit and others from this week. Happy New Year!

Yesterday evening Emma was so tired (she doesn't nap anymore) and she fell asleep on the floor. I carried her to the couch and set her down & she ended up this way...

Isn't this too funny? It was around 5pm and we can't let her nap that late b/c otherwise she will NEVER go to sleep at night so I tried to wake her up. She was snoring and impossible to wake up until I asked her if she wanted M&Ms. Seriously, she woke up so fast! ha!

For Christmas our friends Paul & Carmen got Emma the Melissa & Doug art easel. She spent all night last night using the dry erase markers and this morning we painted. She is in love with her new easel!

Don't worry she was wearing panties even though it doesn't look like it.

Today we took Hudson to the doctor b/c he's been choking during feedings and other random times. We had to see Dr. Meadows since Dr. Dudley was out but she is so nice too. I was thinking he probably had reflux issues and he probably does but we are also doing a Barium test tomorrow to see if his esophagus is narrow as it goes down. Not looking forward to it but they want to rule it out so we have to be at W&C at 7:30am on my birthday tomorrow! He can't eat after 5:30am so we will feed him around 5 and then he'll have to drink that yummy stuff before the test. He won't be in any pain or sedated and we will hear from the doctor hopefully by lunch time. We are going to go ahead and start him on Zantac for the reflux and we are going to elevate his crib mattress.

We also found out that Mr. Chunky Pants is 9 lbs 11.5 oz! Wowzers! I think Emma was a year old before she weighed 9 lbs! It's so exciting to have a baby that grows normally and by the time he is 1 year old he will out weigh his 3.5 year old sister I'm sure. She hasn't gained any weight in several months! But I love her and all of her petiteness. :)

What a big day! I can't believe it's already 3:30pm and it feels like we all just woke up a few minutes ago. We didn't get alot of sleep last night b/c Hudson was having a hard time so I after we opened gifts this morning I went back to sleep for about 4 hours and now George is napping. I guess that's a perk to staying home for Christmas. :)

Emma woke up around 7am this morning and it was so cute watching her get so excited and she kept saying "it's almost time for Santa to come!" and I kept saying "he came last night Emma." She just didn't get it! First, she saw her doll house that Santa brought her and then after playing with it for a few minutes we opened our stockings. Hudson slept through the entire thing and finally woke up after all of the presents! Emma helped him with his gifts. Now we are just watching Emma's new Barney DVDs on repeat, yes I said repeat and I'm ready to turn it off. She's probably watched it 10 times already! Now for some pictures. Well just a little bit longer and it will be Christmas! Emma is having a hard time containing her excitement! Tomorrow morning is going to be lots of fun! :)

Remember the Advent puzzle I mentioned in a previous post from Aunt Margaret & Uncle Dennis? Well Emma has had SO MUCH fun opening the boxes every morning. She would ask several times a day if it was time to open another one. Well today was the last one and I had to snap some pics of her opening it. In the 24th box was a $100 dollar bill & some chocolate. She loved the boxes with chocolate! Mommy liked the boxes with money. :) Don't worry the money went straight to her piggy bank.

Gabby bought the kiddos these super cute matching Santa outfits before Hudson was born. Since he is so chunky these days his actually fits him! I swear in 6 months he will weigh more than Emma. :) Anywho, we were trying to get a perfect picture to frame for a few Christmas gifts and while I'm not ready to share the winner yet, here are some cute and funny outtakes. Yes, I was freaking out the entire time Emma was holding H because I was so scared he would slide off her and straight to the floor. George kept laughing at me. Enjoy!

Merry Christmas to everyone! We are for the first time staying here in AL and all of our family is coming to us over the next couple of weeks. It's just too hard to travel 3 hours with a newborn right now. We are so looking forward to the company! :)

Hudson is 1 month old today!

I can't believe my little handsome man is already 1 month old! He is just such a sweet little blessing and I'm enjoying every minute with him. Here are a few facts about him...

He usually eats 3.5-4 oz every 3 hours
He's wearing 0-3 month clothes most of the time now b/c his NB clothes are getting too small
Size 1 diapers
As of right now all breastmilk through pumping & occasionally breastfeeding
Sleeps most of the day still but the past few days he has been more awake
Only cries when he's hungry or when we change his diaper for the most part
Two nights ago he only woke up at 2am to eat! He was fed at 1opm, 2am, and then 6am
Not a big fan of bath time yet...
He constantly has boogers in his nose! I forgot that he also cries when we clean his nose out...or when Emma hits him in the head. :)
His neck/head is super strong! From the time he was in the NICU he has always been able to lift his head up for several seconds and look around.
Overall he's such a happy content little baby!
Oh and lastly, he is a great eater! He's getting chunky!

What We've Been Up To!

I've really been slacking on updating the blog since Hudson came home. My days just go by so fast and when I'm not feeding, pumping, washing, cleaning, playing with Emma, or dozing on the couch, I'm daydreaming of sleep! :) Not really but things are much busier especially with Christmas around the corner. Emma is so stinking excited about Santa this year and I'm afraid she won't to sleep on Christmas Eve b/c of it! It will definitely be a wonderful Christmas this year with her around. :)

So yesterday my 2 youngest brothers Hunter & Chandler came into town and spent the night. They are the ones that live in Houston. I only get to see them once or twice a year now so it is very exciting when they come up. We didn't do anything but sit around the house but they are always so fun to be around. Emma really took to Hunter b/c he played with her so much and this morning when she woke up they were gone & she was so sad! She said "oh no, Hunter & Chan Chan are gone!" Then she asked me later if we were going to their house and I had to tell her no. Luckily they are coming back this evening to stay the night again so she will pumped when they show up!

Today Hudson is officially 4 weeks old! I can't believe it! So to celebrate here are several pictures...

Mr. H getting a bath last night. He isn't too keen on bathtime. Betsy was very nice to snap a couple of pics of him. We haven't had a chance to take any pics of him during bath time yet so I was happy!

I think this was taken on Saturday. Emma let H sleep with Pooh & her Zoe in the swing. Oh and her favorite blanket. She must have been in the Christmas spirit that day b/c her blanket & Zoe are her fav things! She doesn't normally share those.

Yesterday we also went to Ella Grace's 3rd birthday party! Miss Ella was Emma's 1st little friend in the NICU and we have kept in touch over the past 3 years. I can't believe that our little girls are growing up! We are very fortunate to have their family as friends and I look forward to watching our little miracles grow into big girls in the years to come. :)

On Wednesday night our wonderful friends Paul & Carmen had everyone over for spaghetti. This was Hudson's first time to meet most of our friends and it was fun to see everyone. I just realized today that I haven't been out of the house since last Saturday besides going to their house for dinner. Mommy needs to get out more before I go crazy! Lucky me gets to tackle the crazy Madison traffic tomorrow though to finish up Christmas shopping...oh and Toys R Us! I really despise that place but for some reason I'm going. I don't even know what I'm going for! :) Anyways, on to some pics...

Hudson had just had a bath and got all dressed up before dinner. His hair was sticking up everywhere b/c I didn't brush it after the bath. He's so cute!

Then today my friend Ashli came over to bring the kiddos their Christmas presents. Emma was so excited! Christmas is going to be so fun this year for her. Luckily she has tons of stuff to open...if I manage to wrap it all. :)

Princess shoes! Emma LOVES dress up shoes so much and her other ones actually broke a few months ago so this was the perfect gift! THANKS Ashli & BJ!

We've got a busy weekend coming up with Christmas shopping, wrapping, Ella's 3rd birthday party on Sunday and my 2 youngest brothers coming up from Texas on Sunday. I'm so excited!!! Oh and hopefully I can manage to take a nap at some point. Sleep is hard to come by these days and I doubt we'll have time for a nap but I can always dream right? He's so worth it though!

After dinner tonight Emma wanted to lay down with baby Hudson and take a nap. Well she didn't really take a nap but she pretended. :) They were talking about sleeping and taking naps on Yo Gabba Gabba. Anywho, she loves her baby brother so much and I thought these pictures were just so cute of the two of them.

In other news H is 3 weeks old today! I can't believe it has been 3 weeks already and I know time will continue to fly by. He is just too precious for words!

Mr. H was sleeping so sound and cute last night! He always looks so peaceful!

My beautiful princess! Today Emma and Mommy went shopping together and she sported her new Christmas jacket that Gabby bought her. I LOVE this picture but it makes her look so grown up.

Everything is going good in our little world. I survived my first full day alone with both kids on Friday. It wasn't bad at all! Hudson still sleeps the majority of the day so he isn't very high maintenance yet. Right now we are just trying to get ready for Christmas and looking forward to Daddy being off work that week!
